Blizzard dropped a fresh round of World of Warcraft hotfixes on March 2, and the headline change is a quiet but welcome one: the minimum item level to join a public Heroic dungeon has been cut from 214 down to 211. Small number, real difference for players gearing up in Midnight.
The Twilight Ascension event also got a currency overhaul. Materialist Ophinell and Armorer Kalinovan now sell their event items for Resonance Crystals instead of Twilight's Blade Insignia, and they'll stay available until Midnight Season 1 kicks off. On the quest side, a handful of blockers got cleared out, including a fix for "The Void Peers Back" in Adventure Mode and a level requirement that was incorrectly gating the Relic of Liberation behind level 86.
The March 1 notes are worth a look too. Mage players were apparently clipping enemies through walls with Comet Storm, Shatter, and Duality Pyroblasts, none of which were dealing damage in the process. Blizzard also tightened macro restrictions during active encounters, limiting chat spam to group-exclusive channels. Full patch notes below.
Here you'll find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to World of Warcraft: Midnight, Mists of Pandaria Classic, Season of Discovery, Burning Crusade Classic, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. Some of the hotfixes below take effect the moment they were implemented, while others may require scheduled realm restarts to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch update. This list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.
