STALCRAFT: X went down for server maintenance today and came back up with a fresh patch in tow. According to the official Steam news post, the update covers a spread of areas: the Advanced case, operations fixes, session battles fixes, balance changes, and a handful of other adjustments.

The session battles and operations fixes are probably the ones most players will feel immediately. If you've been running into inconsistencies or outright bugs in either mode, this patch is targeting exactly that. Balance changes are always worth a close read too, since even small number tweaks in a game like STALCRAFT: X can shift which loadouts are worth running.

Not the most verbose set of patch notes, and honestly I'd always prefer studios spell out what specifically changed rather than grouping things under 'other fixes and changes'. But the work is there. Full patch notes below.

First Season Pack

Spring is here — and with it come new opportunities. While some run into a stone wall, those in the know find a way that leads to a perfect door.

The pack includes:

  • 50 000 Season Points;
  • 40 Strategic Reserve cases;
  • 2 Access charms.

When a charm is issued, it is assigned a random number and an access level.

Advanced case

The long-awaited Advanced case is back to the shop! With it you can receive: Albatross Interceptor, Elbrus SRD, WRD PIONEER, IWI Tavor X95, and the cherry on top — HK MP7A2!

Note that this is the last chance to have HK MP7A2 from Advanced case during this Act. So if you like the gun — hurry up to get it! But if you wont get it from the case this time — don't worry. You wiil have a chance to get it in the future.
