Fragpunk's March 18 patch is live today, and the headline isn't a balance overhaul or a weapon tweak. It's the lead-in to the Colors Burst Anniversary content, with the studio rolling out a server-side update that, to their credit, doesn't force you offline to install.
The bigger news lands tomorrow. The Colorful Challenge: Ixchel's Gift event goes live March 19, and everything on offer is free. Complete the challenges and you'll walk away with the Ixchel Rising Star skin, 350 Glunite Coins, Ultra Cans, sticker packs, and a decoration pack. No battle pass gate, no FOMO shop timer. That's not nothing, especially in a live-service shooter where cosmetics usually come with a price tag attached.
The patch itself is light on specifics, which isn't ideal. Vague update notes are a habit worth breaking, and hopefully future patches come with more detail on what actually changed under the hood. For now, if you hit matchmaking issues today, the studio says to sit tight.
