The Minor Update for April 9, 2026 is a small one for Borderlands 4, but it does something players will notice immediately: Badass enemies and Bosses now drop more combat XP on kill. If you have been farming either for loot, you are now getting a better return on that time investment too.
Gearbox has also rolled in a fresh set of Weekly Activities alongside the XP change. No details on what those look like specifically, but Weekly Activities are a decent reason to log back in if you have been away for a bit.
If the update is not applying automatically, a full game restart is recommended to avoid matchmaking connection errors.
