ARC Raiders patch 1.21.0 is rolling out on all platforms today, and according to the official Steam patch notes, it's a mixed bag of new content and overdue fixes.

On the content side, there's a new Raider Tool and a new Backpack set. Neither has been detailed beyond that, so expect the community to start pulling those apart pretty quickly. The bigger wins are on the bug fix side: a DirectX 11 crash has been squashed, the infuriating issue where players could get stuck inside the Harvester or between destroyed ARC parts is gone, and ARC spawning inside geometry, which is exactly as broken as it sounds, has been addressed. The wall-walk exploit tied to picking up a Fuel Cell or Field Crate is also patched out, which should clean up some of the more creative cheesing going on in raids.

Nothing here rewrites the meta the way the Il Toro rebalance did back in 1.20.0, but credit where it's due, Embark is keeping a steady cadence of fixes. Restart your game to download. Full patch notes below.

The team is hard at work getting the Flashpoint update ready for next week, and we’re excited for you to dive into the new content.

We’ve also seen some questions about the size of our weekly patches, so to clarify: these updates are focused on smaller quality-of-life improvements and store rotations. Our larger, more content-heavy updates are currently planned for the end of each month.

See you topside,

Ossen
